Criminal Justice Programs are not just for those who are choosing or have chosen law enforcement (police officer, sheriff, State Patrol, etc.) as a career. Criminal Justice programs also include degrees in areas such as Computer Security.
Computer security is becoming more vital as incidences of “hacking”—illegal or unauthorized access of computer information—and the use of computers as communications tools for carrying out terrorist operations and other criminal activities increase. Criminal Justice programs which offer courses of study in Computer Security can lead to a rewarding and exciting career.
Financing college education, including Criminal Justice programs can be expensive, but it is not beyond anyone’s reach. There are many financial aid sources that students can access which will cover all or part of education expenses. The youngster in the photo has started early, but that’s all right. There’s still money available for anyone, no matter what age, who wishes to enroll in college.
Grants, student loans, and scholarships are a few of the options available to college students. Many universities offer both financial aid programs and scholarship availability for students who are eligible. The money can be used to fund any of the programs offered at the college, including Criminal Justice programs.
