Business Programs
For those looking to get into the high powered world of suits, briefcases, and lunch meetings business programs tend to be ideal. Working in a professional environment is the goal of many job candidates, and for a variety of reasons. I once had an eighth grader tell me she wanted to work in a business so she could always dress nicely and not mess up her nails. I admit, I thought it was a shallow answer but the girl went on to do just exactly what she had planned. I saw her a few years after graduation and she already had an accounting degree because she had worked hard in school and accomplished two years of her college education through dual enrollment while still in high school. She became an accountant that specialized in tax preparation at a medium sized firm. She told me that she loved her job and when I jokingly asked if she remembered why she said she wanted to work in a business she laughed. However, she also said yes and told me she has a large collection of business suits, matching shoes (in various colors and heights, of course) and purses. She not only loves her work she also loves her wardrobe. How often does a career field allow you to truly enjoy both?
