Apple Tablet

Apple Tablet

How great would it be for someone working on a counseling degree, or any degree for that matter, to be able to use a computer that worked like an Ipod, or IPhone?  I mean they are so ridiculously easy to use I get all happy just thinking about a laptop like computer with similar functionality and nifty features. That’s just what the Apple Tablet may be bringing to the table. The possibilities in education for something like this are immense. I know I shouldn’t get too terribly excited, as we are only starting to hear lots of buzz about it and absolutely no one has any hard evidence yet but yowza, if it is only half as revolutionary as the IPhone and the IPod were to their respective technology niches, I can’t help but get excited.
One itsy bitsy downside was that the price tag was well over a thousand dollars. This is really only a slight downside for me, however, as most of the laptops I’ve bought in the past, whether for school, work, or personal use, all ended up having similar price tags. You have to pay for quality. Look at the IPhone…it’s just a phone, right? Yet, people pay hundreds of dollars more. Why? Because of the innovation, features, and applications that are available for it. The same is true for the IPod. Apple makes some amazing things. Let’s just hope the apple tablet is equally amazing. Are you excited yet?
