Computer Security Degree
For some reason, it strikes me as funny that people who are interested in a computer security degree end up in online computer security degree programs. I mean, it is difficult to maintain the security of a computer, much less a network such as one used by a university when it has open access to the Internet. I know it is not impossible to keep secure, but it’s still an interesting twist. I also know I have an oddish sense of humor. Now that I have had my chuckle it is time for me to be serious.
A computer security degree is an excellent choice for those interested in computers and network security, whether obtained online or not. The need for personal and corporate computer security is only going to increase with our cultures ever-expanding dependence on computers. When you combine this with the necessity of network security, you have a career field that is practically recession proof. If you want a wide variety of workplace environments and challenges, you should definitely consider an online computer security degree.
